Opportunistic fungal infections are common in immunocompromised hosts. This is a report of a case of pulmonary infection by a saprophytic fungus Helicomyces roseus (Link) in a patient of chronic bronchiectasis. To authorâ€™s knowledge, this is the first case report of a human infection by H. roseus (Link).
