ABSTRACT: A case of entomophthoromycosis caused by Conidiobolus coronatus was refractory to prolonged treatment with oral potassium iodide and ketoconazole but responded well when antifungal drugs were used along with systemic steroids. Steroid therapy probably helped to remove the barrier for the target action of the drugs.
